BEST Crowd Management is seeking an Event Security Officer in Las Vegas. This part-time role involves maintaining a visible security presence, patrolling venues, screening entrants, and coordinating with staff and authorities to ensure attendee safety.

The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Prior event security experience and a valid license are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and meet local regulations.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• Previous experience in event security, law enforcement, or related field beneficial.
• Maintain strong physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Exhibit observational and problem-solving abilities; strong communication skills.
• Work well in a team and with diverse individuals; flexible scheduling (nights/weekends/holidays).
• Possess a valid security license or willingness to obtain one if required.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence to client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points, conduct bag checks, and screen entrants.
• Respond to security incidents or emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Coordinate with event staff, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Assist attendees with directions and information; provide customer service.
• Report security-related occurrences to supervisors and authorities.
• Document activities and observations for leadership review.
