Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks meats, vegetables, and other foods in accordance with menu.
• Operates standard cooking equipment such as range, mixers, food choppers, deep fryers, and refrigerators.
• Serves meals to inmates.
• Cleans kitchen and equipment.
• Washes dishes and performs general cleaning chores as needed.
• Receives and stocks food supplies and maintains sanitary standards.
• Participates in serving food and cleaning dining facility.
