Job summary

ServiceMASTER is seeking a Large Loss Restoration Supervisor with strong supervisory experience and restoration expertise to lead a crew on large commercial projects. The role requires travel on short notice and staying away from home for extended periods.

You will coordinate with the Large Loss Project Manager and facility managers, ensure safety compliance, and manage timely completion of restoration and drying tasks in facilities affected by fire, water, or wind incidents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel on short notice and be away from home for extended periods.
• Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have good customer service skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and have clean background and driving record.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating large commercial losses to determine work to be performed.
• Perform restoration and drying in large commercial buildings.
• Manage and supervise a crew performing restoration.

• Ensure all work is performed safely and according to rules.
• Complete daily paperwork, including timesheets, and submit to the Project Manager.

ServiceMASTER, the nation's leader in the disaster restoration services is seeking a Large Loss Restoration Supervisor for our Large Loss Division. The ideal candidate will have experience with large commercial restoration including water, fire, smoke damage, and construction. The ideal candidate must also be about to travel on short notice and be away from home for extended periods of time.

DUTIES

• Evaluating large commercial losses to determine work to be performed.


• Perform restoration and drying in large commercial buildings.


• Manage and supervise a crew performing restoration.


• Working with the Large Loss Project Manager and facility managers to insure all work is performed in a satisfactory and timely manner.


• Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and all safety rules are followed.


• Perform assigned work in a timely manner and meet deadline.


• Ensure that all daily paperwork, including timesheets are collected, authorized, and submitted to the Large Loss Project Manager.


• Assist the Large Loss Project Manager in other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to travel on short notice and be away from home for extended periods of time.


• Must have good computer skills.


• Must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.


• Must have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.


• Must have good customer service skills.


• Standing/walking for 7-8 hours a day.


• Must have the ability to communicate with others in written and verbal form.


• Minimum 2 years restoration experience required.


• Must be able to work for long periods of time in extreme temperatures both hot and cold.


• Must be able to work in an environment that has suffered fire, water and wind damage.


• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clean background and driving record


• Must have a valid drivers license
