Job summary

Denver Museum of Nature & Science in Denver seeks a combined graphic design, print production, and installation specialist to bring exhibitions to life. You will create production-ready files, operate large-format printers, and install environmental graphics for temporary and permanent displays, collaborating with the Exhibits team.

Experience in print production, strong typography, and Adobe Creative Suite are essential; flexibility for non-standard hours may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
3+ years’ experience in graphic design and print readiness and production.
Some early, long, or late hours required to meet deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Responsibilities

Print large format projects on industrial print machinery (HP) and produce production-ready files.
Review and revise layouts, typography, imagery, and formatting for consistency and quality.
Develop graphic design concepts and carry them through to production, including material selection and fabrication approaches.
Prepare, produce, and install graphic elements for temporary and permanent exhibitions and public spaces.
Execute signage updates, work orders, and graphic replacement projects.
