Job summary

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager – Large Batch for our Milwaukee facility. The role leads the Large Batch department, ensuring productivity, safety, budgeting, and quality while aligning with corporate objectives. Expect hands-on supervision and KPI monitoring.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, with a focus on coatings, and strong communication and leadership skills. Competitive benefits and a pathway to growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or two-year college degree or equivalent.
• Three to five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemicals or coatings.
• Prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and schedules the Large Batch Department’s activities based on sales requirements and plant capacity, including manpower.
• Works with the Production Manager and Director of Liquid Operations on cost control of repair and operating supplies, waste generation, labor costs and other areas that may be assigned.
• Monitors critical department KPI and ensures safety compliance and quality standards.
• Trains new operators on Large Batch operations and conducts regular trainings for existing staff.
