Job summary

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Production Manager – Large Batch to lead the 1st-shift Large Batch operations. You will drive productivity, safety, budgeting, and quality while coordinating with the Production Manager and Director of Liquid Operations.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and 3–5 years in manufacturing, preferably in chemicals or coatings, with strong communication and ERP/Microsoft Office skills. A robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Preferred education level: Associate’s or two-year college degree or equivalent.
• Preferred experience: three to five years in manufacturing, preferably chemicals or coatings.
• Prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and schedules the Large Batch Department’s activities based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
• Monitors KPI and cost controls related to materials and labor.
• Trains new operators and conducts ongoing safety and skills development.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules and quality standards.
• Lead in ISO quality system audits and daily production reporting.
