Job summary

Hentzen Coatings, Inc. in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Powder Production Team Lead to supervise the powder manufacturing process, ensure safety and quality, and drive production efficiency on the 1st shift.

You will coach a production crew, monitor batch tickets, collaborate with Quality Control and Plant Leadership, and maintain accurate records in the ERP system; forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to production team members to promote safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for production team members in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
• Monitor and audit production processes to ensure compliance with work instructions, setup procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Partner with the Quality Control Department to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product quality concerns.
• Support efficient production operations by maximizing equipment uptime and assisting with all aspects of the manufacturing process as needed.
• Read, interpret, and accurately follow batch ticket instructions and production specifications.
• Measure, weigh, and stage raw materials using scales and other equipment to ensure accurate batch preparation.
• Complete all required production records, batch documentation, and ERP system transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
