Post Glover Resistors is seeking an Electrical Assembler (Large Enclosures) in Erlanger, KY. This day shift, full-time role builds and wires large electrical enclosures from engineering drawings, using hand, power, and torque-controlled tools. Report to the Large Assembly Supervisor with support from Quality and Engineering during each shift.

You will read drawings, assemble components, and ensure units meet tight quality standards. Pre-employment checks and E-Verify apply.

Formación

• Read and follow assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Prior assembly experience or similar background in wire prep and production paperwork.
• Ability to read production paperwork and follow procedures.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking most of the shift.
• Willingness to work as part of a team on large builds.

Responsabilidades

• Build large resistor enclosures and mount components per drawings.
• Cut, strip, and crimp wire; route wiring inside enclosures per diagram.
• Tighten connections to torque specs using torque tools and document values.
• Install terminal blocks, DIN rails, ground bars, switches, and indicators.
• Complete pre-shipment inspection and document production records.
• Rework or repair units not meeting spec as needed.
• Assist in training new assemblers on large builds.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.

ROLE: Electrical Assembler (Large Enclosures)
LOCATION: Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati metro)
STARTING PAY: $20.50/hour ($0.50/hour increase at 90 days)

The Role

This is a day shift, full-time, floor-based assembly position. You'll build and wire large electrical enclosures, working from engineering drawings and wiring diagrams to put together finished units that meet precise quality standards. You'll use hand tools, power tools, and torque-controlled tools, and report to the Large Assembly Supervisor, with support from Quality, Engineering, and experienced assemblers throughout your shift. If you've built or wired products before and you're ready for larger, more complex builds, you'll find plenty to work with here.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build large resistor enclosures, mounting resistor sections, brackets, and hardware according to engineering drawings
• Cut, strip, and crimp wire, then route and secure it inside the enclosure following the wiring diagram
• Tighten connections to torque specifications using torque-controlled tools and record the values
• Install terminal blocks, DIN rail, ground bars, switches, and indicator lights
• Inspect your own work throughout the build and complete a pre-shipment inspection checklist before each unit leaves
• Rework or repair units that don't meet spec when assigned
• Help train newer assemblers on large builds
• Complete production paperwork and time tracking accurately for each job
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times on the floor

What We're Looking For

• Prior assembly experience, or a similar background in wire prep, reading drawings, and production paperwork
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and wiring diagramslis>
• Experience with torque tools, large enclosures, or resistor assemblies is a plus, but not required
• Careful, detail-focused work habits
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude
• Ability to stand and walk for most of your shift, lift up to 50 pounds (a coworker or lifting aid helps with heavy pieces), reach overhead, bend and squat, and wear safety glasses and steel-toe shoes
