Post Glover Resistors in Erlanger, KY is seeking a night shift assembler to build electrical resistors by hand, connect wires, mount components into metal enclosures, and follow engineering drawings to meet strict quality standards.

No prior electrical experience is required; candidates should be comfortable with hand tools and following detailed instructions. You'll report to the Small Assembly Supervisor and work with quality inspectors and production staff.

Responsibilities

• Assembles electrical resistors by connecting wires, ceramic parts, and metal components following work instructions and drawings.
• Mounts and secures resistor parts into fabricated metal boxes and enclosures using hand tools and equipment.
• Inspects own work throughout the process, verifies measurements against quality standards.
• Performs rework or repairs on units that do not meet specifications.
• Maintains clean, organized, and stocked workspace; completes production paperwork and time tracking.

Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati metro)

STARTING PAY:

$20.50/hour plus $1.50 shift premium. ($0.50/hour increase after successfully completing your first 90 days)

The Role

This is a night shift full-time, floor-based assembly position. You'll be building electrical resistors by hand - connecting wires, mounting components into metal enclosures, and following work instructions and engineering drawings to put together units that meet precise quality standards. You'll work alongside other assemblers and report to the Small Assembly Supervisor, with support from quality inspectors and production staff throughout your shift. No prior electrical experience is required - if you're comfortable with hand tools and can follow detailed instructions, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble electrical resistors by connecting wires, ceramic parts, and metal components following work instructions and engineering drawings


• Mount and secure resistor parts into fabricated metal boxes and enclosures using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment


• Inspect your own work throughout the process and verify measurements and connections against quality standards


• Rework or repair units that don't meet spec when assigned


• Keep your work area clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift


• Complete production paperwork and time tracking accurately for each job


• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times on the floor

What We're Looking For

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required


• Comfortable using hand tools and willing to learn new equipment


• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and basic drawings


• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude


• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift
