Brief Summary of Duties

• Repair and part out Notebooks.
• Research values, prepare items for resale and ensure re-marketable equipment is not recycled.
• Sort and track new and used parts installed in devices.
• Ensure all customer data has been removed from equipment.
• Travel for in state or out-of-state special projects as needed (optional).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Experience and/or Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Resume must show a background working with computers and hardware repair.
• Effective and articulate verbal and written communication that is clear and concise.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience using basic computer software.
• Basic math skills to count IT equipment with speed and accuracy.
• Use organization tools such as internal computer software to locate and gather stock with handheld devices, and bar code scanners.
• Includes sitting, standing, bending, twisting and the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Experience and/or Education Preferred

• A+ certification.
• Apple certification.
• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field.
