Job summary

AspenView Technology Partners is seeking a Data Analyst to support multilingual data work and taxonomy development. You will analyze classifier outputs, translate taxonomy content, and collaborate with linguistics and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes data quality, documentation, and independent work with a strong emphasis on Croatian and English language skills. Remote, full-time for up to 8 months, BYOD laptop.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Croatian and English with attention to linguistic detail.

About the Role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, data‑driven Data Analyst with strong Croatian language skills to support the expansion of global product features for one of our clients. In this role, you will help ensure the delivery of accurate, high‑quality data by analyzing multilingual outputs, improving classification performance, and supporting taxonomy translation and parser development. You will collaborate closely with linguistics and engineering teams in a fast‑paced, data‑focused environment.

This is a full‑time (40 hrs/week) contract engagement for up to 8 months, fully remote from. The role is BYOD — Bring Your Own Device (laptop).

What You Will Do

Data Quality & Analysis

• Analyze, evaluate, and improve the quality of multilingual text classifier outputs.
• Identify patterns in data errors and contribute to ongoing improvements in rules, logic, and workflows.

Language & Taxonomy Development

• Partner with linguistics and engineering teams to develop and refine language‑specific parsers.
• Translate and validate taxonomy content such as Skills, Titles, and Occupations from English to Croatian (and/or Croatian to English as needed).

Documentation & Process

• Document findings clearly and follow established processes to ensure consistency and quality.

What You Bring

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or a related field (preferred).

Language Skills

• Fluency in reading and writing Croatian and English, with strong attention to linguistic detail.
• Understanding of syntax and structural language analysis.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, functions, and data cleanup.
• Working knowledge of query languages such as SQL.
• Advanced experience writing and debugging rules using RegEx.
• Familiarity with text analysis, NLP, or machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience performing data analysis using tools such as Excel and/or Python.

Experience & Work Style

• Comfort working with high‑volume, repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and focus.
• Ability to follow complex instructions, navigate ambiguity, and work independently.
• Strong sense of urgency, organization, and time management.
• Reliable laptop and stable internet access.
