Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks MDLA linguists to support NSA SIGINT missions, with opportunities to join the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct analytic roles.

Applicants should have ILR 2/2 in reading and listening, a relevant degree, and at least one year of related experience. The role involves data analysis, translation, and cross‑agency collaboration across several U.S. locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening in the target language.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.
• For Full Performance and Senior levels, leadership experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders a window into foreign language information through analysis, transcription, and translation.
• Research cultures and geopolitical context to inform intelligence analysis.
• Apply new techniques to synthesize large data volumes from disparate sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights for NSA.
• Work independently and with teams across NSA and the IC on research, analysis, and reporting.
