Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks Linguists (MDLAs) to support NSA SIGINT with language analysis, transcription, and translation across the IC. The role offers an opportunity to participate in the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) with multiple office rotations and intensive training.

Applicants should have ILR 2/2 proficiency in reading and listening, a relevant degree, and experience in language work or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• At least one year of relevant experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related fields in language work or relevant non-language domains.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information to inform policymakers and military leaders.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to understand how entities fit in the IC.
• Apply new techniques to address analytic problems and synthesize data from multiple sources.
• Demonstrate an understanding of communications and technology trends relevant to SIGINT.
• Craft written and oral assessments that provide unique insights unavailable from other disciplines.
• Work independently and collaborate with NSA and the Intelligence Community.
