Job summary

NSA seeks Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions across multiple offices and tours. Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening in the target language is required.
• At least one year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.
• Entry uses a HS diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience; or an Associate’s with 2 years; or a Bachelor’s with no experience.
• Full Performance requires higher education or equivalent experience; Senior requires longer experience and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to NSA SIGINT missions.
• Apply analytic techniques to synthesize large data sets and provide insights.
• Mentor and lead other language analysts when needed.
• Work independently and with teams across NSA and other IC components.
