Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake of the Ozarks is seeking a seasonal cook to join the Landshark Bar & Grill kitchen. You will work across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, following published recipes and seasonal pars while maintaining high sanitation standards.

The role reports to the Landshark Kitchen Manager and requires 18+ years of age with strong communication skills in English. Competitive hourly wage with benefits available upon eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong command of English to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to follow Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
• Experience in hospitality or kitchen operations preferred.
• Able to adapt to high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and professional appearance at all times.
• Comply with uniform, grooming, and appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Open/close kitchen in absence of Kitchen Manager as directed.
• Follow all written recipes for menu items.
• Report stock shortages to Kitchen Manager.
• Prepare sauces and dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner per seasonal pars and shifts.
• Prepare menu items under Kitchen Manager’s direction.
• Supervise and assist dishwasher personnel.
• Set up dinner service according to Prep List.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Perform closing/cleaning duties as directed.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay $17.00 - 19.00 Per Hr. Based On Experience

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to: Landshark Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities

• Open/close kitchen in absence of the Kitchen Manager as directed


• Adhere to all prepared written recipes for all menu items.


• Report out of stock items to the Kitchen Manager.


• Prepare all sauces and all dishes for breakfast, lunch & dinner menus in accordance with seasonal pars and scheduled shift.


• Prepare all menu and featured items under the Kitchen Manager’s direction.


• Supervise and assist dishwasher personnel.


• Perform dinner set-up duties according to the Prep List schedule.


• Maintain health and sanitation standards.


• Perform closing/cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager

Qualifications

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.


• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.


• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.


• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.


• Consistently maintain positive demeanor.
