Job description

BB Camp seeks a dynamic, experienced Landscaping & Maintenance Assistant to perform various non-routine and skilled landscaping and maintenance activities on the facilities' buildings, grounds, and equipment. The Landscaping & Maintenance Assistant is responsible for assisting in maintaining and improving BB Camp's physical spaces. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting in housekeeping and maintenance needs, cleaning common areas, maintaining and improving landscaping, and assisting on large ongoing maintenance projects.

The Landscaping & Maintenance Assistant will report to the Facilities Director and work closely and collaboratively with the organization's staff members, campers, and guests.

Minimum Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance work preferred
• Proven leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate effectively with several different stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in maintenance and repair activities
• Prioritizes inclusivity within the work that is produced
• Ability to be flexible and manage change
