Job Summary

Heritage Landscape Services, Inc. d/b/a Heritage Landcare is looking to fill 60 landscaping and groundskeeping worker positions in Greenville County, SC. This is a temporary, full‑time seasonal position from 10/1/2026 to 12/20/2026.

Work sites include Greenville, Richland, Spartanburg, Laurens, Newberry, Saluda, Lexington, Oconee, and Lee Counties, SC. Positions are based in Simpsonville, SC (29680).

Responsibilities

• Dormant season installation of trees, shrubs, or flowers in the appropriate design pattern.
• Unloading materials, digging holes for root systems, covering holes, and sometimes sod laying.
• Planting grass seed or connecting irrigation systems.
• Leaf removal, lawn seed and straw application, lawn aeration.
• Planting and trimming shrubbery, digging, raking, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units.
• Operating powered equipment and driving vehicles to customer locations.
• Sod laying, mowing, watering plants and lawns, plant transplanting, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler installation.
• Dug trenches (4–12 inches deep and wide) for irrigation tubing, with all trimming and pruning performed on the ground.
• Occasional transportation of other workers to and from job sites.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Repetitive movements, extensive pushing/pulling, extensive walking, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Minimum of 3 months landscaping experience.
• Post‑hire drug screen at employer’s expense.

Terms & Conditions of Employment

Pay: $18.07 per hour at 40 hours a week, Mon‑Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime at a minimum of $27.11 per hour. Higher pay and/or incentives based on performance.

Transportation: Employers will provide daily transportation to and from worksites and will advance payment of transportation and subsistence if the worker completes 50% of the contract period. Upon completion or earlier dismissal, the employer will reimburse return transportation and subsistence at the most economical common carrier rate.

Subsidies: Daily subsistence of $16.78 per day, up to $68.00 with receipts.

Guarantees: Three‑fourths of the total working days in each 12‑week period. Standard wage calculation uses a single work week; pay period is bi‑weekly.

Deduction Assurance: Only payroll deductions required by law will be made.

Reimbursements: First work week, H‑2B workers will be reimbursed for visa processing, border crossing, and related fees.

Tools & Equipment: Employer will provide all required tools, equipment, and supplies at no cost to the worker.

Housing: No on‑site board, lodging, or other facilities will be provided.
