Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Landscaper to join our team. You’ll maintain outdoor spaces for industrial, commercial, and public properties, operate commercial landscaping equipment, and help keep plantings healthy and attractive.

You’ll perform turf cutting, pruning, bed planting, mulch application, trash cleanup, and ensure friendly service to clients and guests while following safety guidelines. This role offers stability with a leading national firm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable attitude essential.
• Ability to safely operate power tools such as saws and cutters.
• If operating a BrightView fleet vehicle, a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf, trim borders, edge, and blow using power equipment.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to encourage healthy growth and remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds, apply mulch, and perform weeding by hand or with hoes.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.

Here’s What You’d Do

You’d create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties.You’d safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

You’d Be Responsible For

• Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damagedbranches
• Planting and maintaining flowerbeds, and applying mulch
• Picking up trash and debris
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hulahoe
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests andcustomers

You Might Be a Good Fit If

• You’re at least 18 years old
• You’re enthusiastic and dependable
• You’re able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters
• Landscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
