Job summary

BrightView Landscape Services is seeking team members to provide landscape maintenance for a variety of properties. You’ll safely operate commercial landscaping equipment and keep plant material in top shape, delivering friendly service to guests and customers.

You’ll cut turf, prune, plant flowers, mulch beds, and keep areas tidy while maintaining a positive attitude. BrightView offers competitive compensation and benefits, with opportunities for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to safely operate power equipment.
• Able to work with BrightView fleet vehicles with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf, trim borders, and blow using power equipment.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve growth or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds, and apply mulch.
• Pick up trash and debris.
• Weed by hand or with a hoe/hulahoe.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.

Here’s what you’d do:

You’d create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties.You’d safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

You’d be responsible for:

• Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damagedbranches
• Planting and maintaining flowerbeds, and applying mulch
• Picking up trash and debris
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hulahoe
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests andcustomers

You might be a good fit if:

• You’re at least 18 years old
• You’re enthusiastic and dependable
• You’re able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters
• Landscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
