Job summary

BrightView is hiring landscape maintenance staff in Livermore, CA. You'd support maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties, operating commercial landscaping equipment safely and keeping plant material in top condition.

You’d cut turf, prune shrubs, plant flowerbeds, mulch, and keep sites clean while delivering friendly service to guests. BrightView offers competitive pay and benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Able to safely operate power saws and cutters.
• If operating BrightView fleet vehicle, must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf, trim borders, and blow with power equipment.
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to maintain growth and remove damaged branches.
• Planting and maintaining flowerbeds, and applying mulch.
• Picking up trash and debris.
• Performing weeding by hand or with a hoe.
• Maintaining a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.

Here’s what you’d do:

You’d create beautiful environments by providing landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. You’d safely operate commercial grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

You’d be responsible for:

• Cutting turf, trimming and edging along borders, and blowing using power equipment
• Pruning shrubs and low trees to improve the growth habit or remove damagedbranches
• Planting and maintaining flowerbeds, and applying mulch
• Picking up trash and debris
• Performing weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hulahoe
• Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests andcustomers

• You’re enthusiastic and dependable
• You’re able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters
• Landscapers who will be operating a BrightView fleet vehicle are required to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
