Job Summary

A well-established education environment in Nashville, TN is seeking a Grounds & Landscaping Technician for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a dependable grounds maintenance professional with experience supporting athletic fields, landscaped areas, irrigation systems, and general outdoor campus upkeep.

The Grounds & Landscaping Technician will help maintain a clean, safe, attractive, and functional property for students, staff, visitors, and the broader campus community. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, strong work-life balance, and a supportive team environment where quality work and pride in craftsmanship are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing maintenance of sports fields, lawns, landscaped areas, and general campus grounds.
• Operate mowing equipment and perform routine turf care to support a clean and professional appearance.
• Handle weed extraction, weed prevention, and general landscape upkeep.
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout assigned grounds areas.
• Assist with grounds lighting maintenance and report needed repairs or safety concerns.
• Support irrigation system operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance to promote healthy turf and landscaping.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
• Job Type: Direct hire, full-time.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Location: Nashville, TN 37221
