Job summary

BrightView is seeking a landscape technician to join our crew in Santa Barbara, CA. You will provide landscape maintenance support for a variety of properties, operating commercial-grade equipment to keep plant material and landscape features pristine.

You’ll cut turf, prune shrubs, plant flowers, and help with mulch while delivering friendly, guest-focused service. Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for fleet-driving roles. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Able to safely operate power equipment (saws, cutters).
• Drivers for BrightView fleet vehicles must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf, trim borders, and blow with power equipment.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain growth or remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds, and apply mulch.
• Pick up trash and debris.
• Weed by hand or with a garden hoe or hulahoe.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
