Job Description: Landscape Laborer

Primary/Essential Duties:

• Lawn services - mowing and trimming of lawn and turf areas.
• Lawncare – mulching, aerating, weeding, bed & walkway edging.
• Property cleanup - debris and litter cleanup.
• Pruning - seasonal pruning of bushes, shrubs, and small trees using shears, pruners or chain saw.
• Weed control - spraying of curb-lines & sidewalks.
• Shoveling snow - shoveling of snow from walkways & lots; spreading ice melt.
• Topsoil & seed installation.
• Bed cleanup, edging, mulch installation & planting maintenance.
• Spring and fall cleanup - branch, debris, and leaf removal.
• Use of hand tools: shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or bush trimmers, axes, or the like.
• Use of power equipment: mowers, chainsaws, electric trimmers, backpack blowers, snow blowers, or the like.
• Use of fleet vehicles: drive trucks or other vehicles to or at work sites.
• Ensure all jobs are completed on time, to company standards of quality.
• Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately.
• Assure proper care of all company equipment/property at their disposal; and monitor for needed maintenance.
• Maintain crew trucks and equipment inventory on trucks.
• Always maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Other duties as assigned - must be available for all scopes or types of work that the company engages in.

Job Requirements/Skills:

• 2+ years landscape maintenance experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Authorization to work in US; valid work Visa or Permanent Residency Card.
• Valid PA Driver’s License and reputable driving record (this is mandatory and will be verified). You will be required to operate a company vehicle daily.
• Good Verbal & written communications skills; must speak English (bilingual Spanish preferred).
• Must-Have Experience Operating Commercial Lawn Equipment - capable of using the following tools and or equipment in a proficient manner: mowers, weed whackers, edgers, blowers, and the like.
• Good Verbal & written communications skills; must speak English (bilingual Spanish preferred).

Job Types Available:

• Full-time; 40 hours per week (busy seasons-50+ hours average).
• Seasonal Landscaping (March – November); year-round work will include snow removal duties.
