Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Landscape Trainee to execute planned landscaping tasks, maintain grounds and support client projects on site in Youngstown, OH. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, safety, and teamwork outdoors.

You will learn planting, trimming, mowing, mulching, and diagnosing turf health, while communicating with managers and clients. A valid driver's license and ability to operate equipment are required; opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors and a safety-conscious mindset.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping is preferred.
• Knowledge of turf, trees and shrubs and related physiology is preferred.
• Completion of Davey Landscape career development books is encouraged upon hire.
• CPR/First Aid and defensive driving training are required upon hire.
