The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Grounds Technician to provide ongoing care and upkeep on our properties. Located in Harrison, OH, this on-site, permanent full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for advancement.

You’ll perform mowing, edging, weed control, debris cleanup, leaf removal, and seasonal snow/salt maintenance, with a focus on safety and outdoor expertise. Ideal candidates love the outdoors and may have horticulture or landscaping background, turf or tree/shrub ID

Qualifications

• Outdoor-loving candidate preferred.
• Background in Horticulture or Landscaping preferred.
• Knowledge of turf, weeds, trees, and shrubs preferred.
• Complete Davey landscape career development books upon hire.
• Complete Davey first aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular lawn mowing and edging.
• Weed control and debris cleanup.
• Leaf removal and snow removal as needed in year-round role.
• Salt maintenance in winter as part of year-round duties.
