Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Landscape Trainee to support planned landscaping operations on-site at Canton Township, MI. You will learn to plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, and diagnose turf and shrub health while coordinating with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping preferred.
• Turf, tree and shrub ID, pathology, and turf physiology knowledge preferred.
• Ability to complete Davey Landscape career development books on hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course on hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Class A or B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement.
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide licenses/certificates if required by state law.
