Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is hiring a Landscaper II in Burlingame, CA to provide landscape maintenance for industrial, commercial, and public properties. You will perform mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, soil preparation, and color management while safely operating equipment.

Responsibilities include following site-specific requests, assisting Crew Leader, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. Must be 18+, dependable, and certified on level 2 equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate equipment like power saws and cutters.
• Certified on level 2 landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute work according to site-specific details and client requests.
• Cut turf using various-sized power mowers, trimming, and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer, and operating a gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Prepare soil, install, and maintain seasonal color.
• Operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences, and other objects.
• Utilize proper weed control methods.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and assist team members as needed.
• Perform DVIR inspections with Crew Leader.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor repairs.
