Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper II to provide landscape maintenance for a variety of properties. You will perform tasks with minimal supervision and support the safe operation of commercial-grade equipment, maintaining plant materials and landscaping elements.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, planting, soil prep, and seasonal color maintenance, with emphasis on quality and guest satisfaction. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Enthusiastic and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Certified on Level 2 equipment (hedge, trimmer, pruners, blowers, mowers).

Responsibilities

• Execute work according to site details and client requests.
• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas edger/trimmer, operate blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape and growth.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds and seasonal color.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks/trailers and basic repairs.
