Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper II to support landscape maintenance across industrial, commercial, and public properties. The role involves operating lawn and plant care equipment, performing pruning, planting, seasonal color work, and helping maintain overall site appearance.

Candidates must be 18+, dependable, and able to safely operate equipment. A Level 2 equipment certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment (e.g., power saws, cutters).
• Certified on Level 2 equipment (extend hedge, trimmer, extend pole pruners, push/ride-on blower, riding mower, stand-on mower, walk-behind rototiller).

Responsibilities

• Execute work per site-specific details and client requests.
• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered edger/trimmer, and operate a gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve shape or growth habit.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Prepare soil, install and maintain seasonal color.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, and buildings.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
• Assist Crew Leader with DVIR inspections and safety checks.
