Kapco Inc. is seeking a Landscape Technician to maintain and enhance the appearance of our properties.

You will report to the Building & Grounds Supervisor and operate hand and power equipment to perform landscaping and snow removal tasks safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, fertilizing, and pesticide applications, along with keeping equipment in good working order and traveling to Kapco locations for upkeep.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year of landscape experience.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a 3.0 Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License within 6 months of hire.

As a Landscape Technician, you’ll be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our properties. Reporting to the Building & Grounds Supervisor, you’ll operate hand and power equipment to perform landscaping and snow removal tasks safely and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs, and trees by mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and applying mulch.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides to lawns and landscaped areas.
• Perform snow and ice removal during winter months to keep properties safe and accessible.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment or machinery.
• Travel to local properties to ensure consistent upkeep across all Kapco locations.
• Work efficiently, adapt to changing priorities, and support team goals.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of landscape experience.
• Ability to operate power equipment safely.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a 3.0 Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License within 6 months of hire.

Physical Demands:

This is a medium-duty role that requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, frequent bending, twisting, climbing, and reaching.
