Job summary

Juniper is seeking a Landscape Superintendent in Greer, SC to lead our Install team, scheduling projects, supervising crews, and managing resources for landscape installation work on client sites.

You will coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors, uphold safety standards, and deliver high-quality landscapes while maintaining strong client communication and service across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in landscape installation or irrigation.
• Experience with commercial landscape projects preferred.
• Knowledge of plant materials and horticultural practices.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate crew resources.
• English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage all landscape installation projects, coordinating materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors to deliver quality work.
• Provide day-to-day scheduling and guidance for branch landscape projects.
• Understand client needs and meet with clients directly to ensure excellent service.
• Train and develop team members, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by the crew.
• Interview and hire team members.
• Perform hands-on work with crews as needed to meet demands.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment for installations.
• Maintain and manage equipment and tool upkeep and storage.
• Order materials, manage costs, and coordinate deliveries.
• Keep client billing paperwork up to date and accurate.
• Maintain computer systems for timekeeping, job databases, and service schedules.
• Understand budgets, labor, costs, and gross profits on irrigation projects.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients.
• Other relevant duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Managing all landscape installation projects, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
• Providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance for the branch’s landscape projects.
• Understanding client needs, and meeting with clients directly to provide excellent customer service.
• Training and developing of team members (including proper operation of equipment, planting techniques, safety guidelines, and quality standards) as well as disciplinary actions.
• Ensuring safety protocols are being followed by team members.
• Interviewing and hiring team members.
• Performing hands‑on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands as needed.
• Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape installation projects.
• Ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained, stored, and used.
• Ordering materials as needed, managing costs and coordinating deliveries.
• Ensuring paperwork and reports are accurately updated/completed for client billing.
• Maintaining and managing all required computer systems, including but not limited to timekeeping, job databases, and service schedules.
• Understanding budgets, labor, costs, and gross profits on irrigation installation projects.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients
• Other relevant job duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in landscape installation, landscape construction or irrigation enhancement services
• Commercial landscape installation experience preferred
• Knowledge of plant material and horticultural best practices
• Customer service and client‑focused
• Collaborative and team‑focused leader
• Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications including MS Office
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record check
• Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
• Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
• Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
