Job summary

Juniper seeks a Landscape Superintendent for our Install team in Greer, SC. You will schedule landscape installation projects, supervise crews, coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors to deliver quality work.

You will manage budgets, uphold safety standards, train staff, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Valid driver’s license and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus; willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in landscape installation or construction.
• Strong focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
• Collaborative, team-focused leadership with mentoring skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and standard computer tools.
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage landscape installation projects and crews.
• Coordinate materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors to meet budgets and timelines.
• Meet with clients to understand needs and provide excellent service.
• Train and develop team members on safety, planting techniques, and equipment operation.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and oversee hiring and performance discipline.
• Perform hands-on work as needed and manage paperwork for billing and reporting.

Join our company, where we Welcome/Grow/Celebrate you at Juniper!Responsibilities:Managing all landscape installation projects, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality work.Providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance for the branch’s landscape projects.Understanding client needs, and meeting with clients directly to provide excellent customer service.Training and developing of team members (including proper operation of equipment, planting techniques, safety guidelines, and quality standards) as well as disciplinary actions.Ensuring safety protocols are being followed by team members.Interviewing and hiring team members.Performing hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands as needed.Using hand tools, power tools and/or equipment to perform landscape installation projects.Ensuring equipment and tools are properly maintained, stored, and used.Ordering materials as needed, managing costs and coordinating deliveries.Ensuring paperwork and reports are accurately updated/completed for client billing.Maintaining and managing all required computer systems, including but not limited to timekeeping, job databases, and service schedules.Understanding budgets, labor, costs, and gross profits on irrigation installation projects.Provide excellent customer service and communication with clientsOther relevant job duties as needed.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in landscape installation, landscape construction or irrigation enhancement servicesCommercial landscape installation experience preferredKnowledge of plant material and horticultural best practicesCustomer service and client-focusedCollaborative and team-focused leaderProficiency with a variety of computer software applications including MS OfficeValid Driver’s License and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record checkBi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plusMust be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the dayMust be able to use hand tools and power equipmentMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.About UsJuniper is a full-service landscape design, build, and management company servicing the Southeast.
