Job summary

PRIDE Industries is recruiting a Landscape Supervisor to oversee grounds maintenance at multiple facilities in North Highlands, CA. You will supervise crews, plan tasks, and ensure safety and quality in landscaping, roads, and parking areas.

The role requires knowledge of landscape practices, equipment operation, and safety standards, with a focus on reliable service and customer satisfaction. Work is onsite at various client sites with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of landscaping experience, including one year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance standards, materials, and safe chemical use.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA and OSHA regulations.
• Experience operating landscape equipment such as front loaders, backhoes, forklifts, trenchers, and mowers.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Computer literacy including basic word processing and spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to train employees in safety and operational practices.
• Supervisory skills to hire, train, and manage staff effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage landscape maintenance at customer locations.
• Prioritize, assign, and schedule tasks; adjust for weather and staff absences.
• Oversee work to ensure safety, timeliness, and compliance with procedures.
• Supervise staff and ensure competence and motivation through training and reviews.
• Provide staff instruction on safe equipment and chemical use.
• Serve as an informational resource on grounds maintenance services.
• Lead departmental meetings and participate in related activities.
• Deliver friendly and helpful customer service within contract terms.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
