Job summary

TriPax Resources is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in the Akron, OH area to lead across Maintenance, Design/Build, Turf, and Snow. You will own scheduling, workforce deployment, fleet readiness, and KPI tracking while developing managers and driving scalable processes.

The role requires building systems, establishing accountability, and using technology to improve operations. You will partner with leadership to elevate organizational performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in landscape operations, construction, service operations, or similar environments.
• Experience leading through managers and crew leaders.
• Strong scheduling, planning, production, and resource-management capability.
• Experience building or improving operational systems and processes.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and use KPIs and scorecards.

Responsibilities

• Owns operations across Maintenance, Design/Build, Turf, and Snow.
• Translates company priorities into actionable, consistent execution.
• Owns scheduling, crew deployment, and production planning.
• Manages fleet and equipment readiness, maintenance, and related systems.
• Builds and maintains operational KPIs, scorecards, and production metrics.
• Reviews job costing, labor variances, and production performance.
• Leads weekly production meetings and collaborates with leadership.
• Improves handoffs between sales and operations to ensure informed production start.
• Develops and documents SOPs and standard operating procedures.
• Coaches and develops managers and crew leaders through regular one-on-ones.
