Job summary

James River Grounds Management is seeking a Crew Member to perform lawn mowing, mulching, pruning, planting, leaf clean-ups and related landscape tasks on assigned properties.

The role requires reading plans, following supervisor directions, and maintaining safety standards on site. A state technician/applicator license and a high school diploma or GED are preferred; a driver's license is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Able to follow plans and maps of property.
• Dependable; punctual and flexible to weather/season.
• Safety conscious and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.).
• Perform landscape maintenance and chemical applications with licensure as required.
• Store, transport, mix and apply chemicals per law.
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean, safe job sites and vehicles.
