Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for a variety of properties. This role involves performing basic landscaping tasks under supervision and assisting with the maintenance of plant materials and landscape features.

You will operate and support safe use of commercial-grade equipment, cut turf with mowers, trim with edger/trimmer, prune shrubs, plant and maintain flowerbeds, and help keep outdoor areas neat and welcoming for guests.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• Enthusiastic and dependable
• Ability to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower)
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers, trim with gas edger/trimmer, and operate a gas-powered blower
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or growth
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader and maintain a polite demeanor with guests and customers
