Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Landscaper I to support maintenance for industrial, commercial, and public properties. The role involves cutting turf, trimming, pruning, planting, and operating gas-powered equipment under supervision.

You will clear debris, mulch beds, and assist with basic maintenance while upholding safety and guest-facing standards. Qualifications include being 18+, physically able to lift 40 lbs, and holding Level 1 equipment certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 40 lbs. repeatedly.
• Able to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on Level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, trimmer, mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim edges, and blow debris.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to shape growth.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Maintain grounds by mulching leaves and removing waste.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and safety checks.
• Report unsafe conditions to Crew Leader or Supervisor.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests.
