Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for industrial, commercial, and public properties. The role involves operating commercial landscaping equipment, maintaining plant material, and performing routine tasks with supervision.

The position requires basic horticultural knowledge, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and familiarity with standard landscaping tools, ensuring safe and efficient outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• Enthusiastic and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers and trim with edger/trimmer and blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed for shape or removal of damaged branches.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and trimmer along sidewalks and around trees/buildings.
