Reports to: Owner / Operations Manager
Top Of The Landscaping LLC is looking to hire a Landscape Maintenance Crew Foreman. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, ranging from 50 to 65 hours per week. Some Saturdays are required when necessary. You will be responsible for ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and meets client expectations while adhering to safety guidelines.
Summary:
The Landscape Maintenance Crew Foreman is responsible for managing grounds maintenance service contracts, supervising a crew of laborers, operating various tools and equipment, and providing daily progress reports on job time and costs.

Job Duties:
- Operate medium-sized trucks and trailers
- Perform year-round property maintenance, including snow plowing, shoveling, ice prevention, clean-ups, mulching, trimming, pruning, and other landscape tasks
- Manage loading/unloading of trucks and trailers, including labor, equipment, and materials
- Perform lawn care duties such as mowing, edging, refuse cleanup, and blowing
- Assist with soil, mulch, and plant material installation for landscape projects
- Identify and remove weeds as needed
- Operate power equipment like mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, and snow blowers
- Supervise crew members to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
- Inspect work quality to minimize rework and ensure customer satisfaction
- Train crew members on safe and proper job methods
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Assist with construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, and vehicle/equipment upkeep
- Complete daily paperwork such as time and service records and time-off requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, trailers, equipment, and work sites
- Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate professionally with customers
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of team leadership experience in landscape/grounds maintenance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to operate equipment safely
- Ability to understand and respond to feedback professionally

- Knowledge of landscape materials, methods, tools, and equipment

- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Class D driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and hold a DOT medical certificate
- Ability to safely drive and back up trucks and trailers
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Multilingual skills are a plus
Work Conditions:
- Operate hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials
- Lift a minimum of 80 lbs repeatedly
- Work in a fast-paced environment
