Job summary

Gothic Landscape is seeking an Account Manager in San Bernardino, CA to manage client relationships, supervise crews, and drive branch growth in the commercial landscape sector.

You will handle dispatch, performance management, site quality reviews, and proposals, with emphasis on customer service, retention, and profitability. Spanish bilingual is highly valued; a 2–4 year degree and irrigation skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing clients and crews in commercial landscaping.
• 2–4 year college degree in related field and landscape experience.
• Hands-on irrigation knowledge incl. Rain Bird IQ and WeatherTrak.
• Spanish bilingual is highly preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills for proposals and emails.
• Experience in consultative sales and client retention.

Are you our next great LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER?

This position is located in San Bernardino, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES of Account Managers will include, but not limited to:

• Create strong relationships with our customers through communication and service, ensuring they receive quality, timely service on their projects
• Manage crew members as needed including: morning dispatch, performance management, addressing complaints, and planning, assigning or directing work load
• Provide proactive site quality reviews and communicate assessments internally and externally
• Network and earn referrals to help the branch achieve its new growth objectives
• Lead the branch in growing its base contracts in the targeted market segments and geographic locations
• Assist the branch team in achieving its overall objectives of quality, retention, growth and profitability

Are you the right fit for this role?

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE that are necessary as an Account Manager will include, but not limited to:

• 3 years+ of client & crew management experience within the commercial landscape industry with a proven track record of managing a large client portfolio is highly preferred
• 2 or 4-year college degree in a related field and/or, have a minimum of 2-3 years landscape/horticulture experience required to include training and managing multiple crew members/gardeners
• Hands on working knowledge and experience in commercial irrigation systems to include, Rainbird IQ controllers & Weathertrak systems.
• QAL is highly preferred
• Strong computer skills & highly proficient in MS Office programs to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Email is required for proposals a customer presentations
• 3 years of strong customer service, sales and communication experience, or combined comparable experience
• Sound time management and organizational skills with a strong work ethic
• Strong interpersonal verbal & written skills are a must with the ability to write and present proposals and bids
• Experience in consultative sales to clients for additional services
• Spanish Bilingual is highly preferred to communicate effectively with crew members

SALARY RANGE:

• $80,000 - $90,000 per year (specific compensation may vary based on overall skills, experience and location)
• Annual Bonus potential (specific compensation may vary based on overall branch & individual performance)
