Gothic Landscape is seeking a Branch Manager for the Palo Alto, CA region. This leadership role oversees quality, client retention, team development, and overall profitability of the branch.

The successful candidate will drive operations planning, lead by example, and build strong client partnerships while managing budgets and growth initiatives. Excellent communication and people leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of landscape industry experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Extensive experience in client relationship management and problem resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
• Strong business acumen with an understanding of branch operations, budgets, profitability, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Palo Alto branch in achieving its objectives for quality, client retention, growth, and profitability.
• Ensure operations team has people, equipment, resources, and budgets to perform successfully.
• Inspect jobs to evaluate quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead branch team-building, training, coaching, and employee development initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, events, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Address customer concerns quickly, professionally, and effectively.
• Communicate company goals and departmental objectives throughout the branch.
• Develop bench strength within field and management teams to support current operations and future growth.
• Identify and develop internal talent, with promotion from within preferred when possible.
• Partner with Business Developer to identify new opportunities and drive market growth.
• Develop and execute annual, monthly, and weekly business plans for branch operations.
• Hold teams accountable for achieving operational, financial, customer service, and employee-development goals.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Palo Alto, CA branch. This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall success of the branch, including quality, client retention, team development, business growth, operational performance, and profitability.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Palo Alto branch in achieving its overall objectives for quality, client retention, growth, and profitability
• Ensure the operations team has the people, equipment, resources, and detailed budgets necessary to perform successfully
• Personally inspect jobs to evaluate quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure operational plans are being effectively executed
• Lead branch team-building, training, coaching, and employee development initiatives
• Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, industry events, and customer satisfaction initiatives
• Ensure customer concerns and reasonable requests are addressed quickly, professionally, and effectively
• Communicate company goals and departmental objectives throughout the branch and ensure teams are aligned and working together
• Develop strong bench strength within field and management teams to support current operations and future growth
• Identify and develop internal talent, with promotion from within preferred whenever possible
• Partner closely with the Business Developer to identify new opportunities and drive market growth
• Develop and execute appropriate annual, monthly, and weekly business plans for branch operations
• Hold teams accountable for achieving operational, financial, customer service, and employee-development goals
