Job summary

Mariani Landscape in Lake Bluff, IL seeks a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Account Manager to be the primary liaison for maintenance clients. You will nurture relationships from initial sale through weekly maintenance, drive new business, and increase department revenue by delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include managing client needs, presenting maintenance options, coordinating with production and admin, and ensuring contracts and proposals are prepared accurately.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in the landscape industry.
• Solid knowledge of landscape terminology and plant materials.
• Experience as a Client Representative, Production Coordinator, or Crew Leader is preferred.
• Understanding of the Mariani approach to Maintenance and standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain established sales volume; pursue new leads and prospects.
• Initiate and attend maintenance client presentations and meetings.
• Join onsite visits/walkthroughs to ensure client needs are met.
• Follow the sales process and coordinate information to admin and production.
• Manage communications with current and prospective clients to keep a single point of contact.
• Prepare proposals, renewals and contracts using standard templates.
• Monitor billing and accounts receivable; collaborate with crew leaders on client requests.
