Qualifications

• 2 years of landscaping experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, weed wackers, tampers, and other small machines.
• Assist with landscape installations under the direction of the foreman.
• Perform tasks like shoveling, raking, planting, digging, bending, kneeling, and mowing.
• Help prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges; dispose of trimmings properly.
• Identify and remove weeds.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; dispose of debris and waste properly.
• Load and unload materials from trucks at job sites as needed.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.

Job Summary:

Halter Landscaping Inc. is seeking a hardworking and reliable Landscape Laborer to join our skilled team. In this role, you will assist with landscape maintenance, installations, and enhancement projects to ensure outdoor spaces are attractive and well-maintained. This position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Reports To:

Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate equipment such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, weed wackers, tampers, and other small machines.
• Assist with landscape installations under the direction of the foreman.
• Perform tasks like shoveling, raking, planting, digging, bending, kneeling, and mowing.
• Help prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges; dispose of trimmings properly.
• Identify and remove weeds.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; dispose of debris and waste properly.
• Load and unload materials from trucks at job sites as needed.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers.

• Valid driver's license required.
• 2 year landscaping experience
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using landscape tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Stamina to work outdoors for extended periods, including in hot or adverse weather.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and squat repeatedly.
