Halter Landscaping Inc. is looking for a hard-working Mowing Crew Member to join one of our mowing teams in Douglassville, PA. You will maintain lawns by mowing, trimming edges, and performing basic landscaping tasks as part of a professional crew.

Reports to the Operations Manager. The role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and at least 1 year of related experience. Benefits include Simple IRA, PTO, and overtime.

Qualifications

Mowing Crew Member

Job Summary:

Halter Landscaping is looking for a hard-working Mowing Crew Member to join one of our highly skilled mowing teams. As a Mowing Crew Member, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and health of lawns by mowing grass, trimming edges, and performing basic landscaping tasks. You will work as part of a team to ensure that properties are properly cared for and meet the standards set by our company and clients.

Reports to:

Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Operate lawn mowing equipment such as push mowers, riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform regular lawn mowing and trimming tasks according to schedule and specifications.
• Edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and other landscape features to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  
• Communicate with the Operations Manager to report any issues or concerns regarding equipment, safety, or job tasks
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, respectful, and responsive to client needs and requests
  

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Minimum of one year of experience in lawn mowing, landscaping, or related field required
• Knowledge of basic lawn care principles and techniques is a plus
• Ability to operate lawn mowing equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction closely
  
• Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.
