Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in hardscaping/landscaping/horticulture
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred
• Professional appearance per non-smoking policy and standards
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background, MVR, and DOT physical

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and managers to understand project requirements and timelines
• Prepare sites by clearing debris, grading, and soil prep
• Install hardscape features, lighting, trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Operate heavy equipment safely (mini skids, skid steers, mini excavators)

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting compensation of $43,000+ annually.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with landscape designers and project managers to understand landscape construction project requirements and timelines.
• Prepare sites for installation by clearing debris, grading terrain, and performing necessary soil preparation.
• Install diverse landscape elements, including hardscape features, lighting fixtures, trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as mini skids, skid steers, and mini excavators safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while strictly following established safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members to guarantee seamless project execution and provide constructive execution feedback.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of previous experience in hardscaping, landscaping, horticulture, or a related field.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, lift 50 lbs, and work outside in an all-weather environment.
• Valid driver’s license required; a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, though in-house training programs are available to help obtain one.
• Commitment to maintaining a professional, clean-cut appearance in alignment with the company’s non-smoking policy and strict presentation standards.
• Strong teamwork skills, high energy, and a positive attitude to mesh with a highly selective and ambitious crew.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical as part of this safety-sensitive role.
