Business Resources One in Omaha, NE is hiring a Landscape Maintenance Crew Member to perform plant and bed maintenance on residential and commercial properties. You will work with a crew and report to local branch management to ensure high-quality service and client communication.

The role requires at least 2 years in landscape maintenance or a horticulture degree, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass screenings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape plant maintenance experience or a degree in horticulture or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in plant identification and bed maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and walk several miles daily.
• Professional, clean-cut appearance in a non-tobacco environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Execute landscape plant and bed maintenance, including pruning, weeding, cutbacks and clean-ups.
• Drive plant installation requests and maintain planters on properties.
• Communicate professionally with customers to manage service expectations.
• Recommend additional company services based on property needs.
• Work independently and as part of a team while caring for client properties.
• Participate in on-the-job training for all service aspects.

This Landscape Maintenance Crew Memberrole focuses on delivering high-quality landscape plant and bed maintenance for residential and commercial properties. The primary objective is to care for customer properties through scheduled and on-call pruning, weeding, and clean-ups while maintaining professional daily communication with clients. The successful candidate will operate both independently and alongside a dedicated crew, reporting to local branch management.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range of $50,000 – $65,000 annually.

Requirements

• Must possess at least 2 years of experience in landscape plant maintenance or a degree in horticulture or a related green industry field.
• Demonstrated expertise in specific plant identification and bed maintenance, rather than just basic mowing skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have the ability to obtain DOT medical certification.
• Physical capability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull objects while walking up to 3 miles per day.
• Must meet strict, professional, clean-cut appearance standards within a non-tobacco organizational culture.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check for this safety-sensitive position.
