Job summary

Abbruzzese Brothers is seeking an experienced Lead Landscape Installer to guide landscape and hardscape installation projects on a hands-on leadership level. You will lead crews, read designs, and ensure timely, high-quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings proven landscape installation experience, strong leadership, and the ability to motivate a team, with a commitment to quality outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous landscape installation experience is required.
• Crew leadership or foreperson experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation practices and materials.
• Ability to identify common landscape plants, shrubs, and trees.
• Experience with grading, drainage, and hardscape installation is a plus.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside installation crews on landscape and hardscape projects.
• Install trees, shrubs, perennials, mulch, edging, sod, drainage systems, pavers, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
• Read and execute landscape designs and installation plans.
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities and maintain production goals.
• Train and mentor crew members.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
• Operate landscaping equipment, skid steers, compact equipment, and power tools safely.
• Maintain clean, organized jobsites, trucks, and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
