Job summary

Low Maintenance Landscape, Inc in Lawrence, Kansas is hiring a Landscape Installation Crew Member to join our design-build-maintain team. This full-time role involves bed preparation, planting, mulching, and installing landscape features, with daily coordination with the Manager.

You will operate small engine equipment, work outdoors in varied weather, and develop skills in horticulture while growing with the company.

Qualifications

• Be able/willing to work outside, occasionally in less than ideal weather conditions.
• Be able to do labor-intensive and repetitive tasks throughout an entire work shift.
• Have some knowledge of landscape and hardscape, and a willingness to learn.
• Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
• Be able to interact professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers.
• Be able to work both independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Bed preparation, planting, mulching, and landscape/hardscape installation.
• Operation of small engine equipment including chainsaws, pole saws, and rototillers.
• Communicate daily with the Manager regarding daily schedule and progress.
• Attention to detail and safety.
