Job summary

Low Maintenance Landscape, Inc in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Landscape Installation Crew Member. You will handle bed preparation, planting, mulching and landscape/hardscape installations on-site, using small engine tools like chainsaws and rototillers.

Daily communication with the manager ensures schedules and progress are clear. Ideal candidates work well outdoors in varied weather, perform labor-intensive tasks, and show readiness to learn landscape practices.

Qualifications

• Be able/willing to work outside in diverse weather conditions.
• Able to perform labor-intensive and repetitive tasks all shift.
• Knowledge of landscape and hardscape; willingness to learn.
• Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

About The Job:

Lawrence, Kansas / Full-time

Low Maintenance Landscape, located in Lawrence, Kansas, is looking to hire a Landscape Installation Crew Member.

Responsibilities:

• Bed preparation, planting, mulching, and landscape/hardscape installation.


• Operation of small engine equipment including chainsaws, pole saws, and rototillers.


• Communicate daily with the Manager regarding daily schedule and progress.


• Attention to detail and safety.

Requirements:

• Be able/willing to work outside, occasionally in less than ideal weather conditions. (Rain, Cold, or extreme heat).


• Be able to do labor-intensive and repetitive tasks throughout an entire work shift. (repeated kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting).


• Have some knowledge of landscape and hardscape, and a willingness to learn.


• Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.


• Be able to interact professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers.


• Be able to work both independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
