Job summary

HeartLand is seeking a Landscape Install & Enhancement Crew Leader in Lexington, Kentucky. You will lead a crew of 2–5, direct daily tasks, ensure safe and high-quality landscape installations, and coordinate with supervisors and clients.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency on each site. Strong leadership, equipment operation experience, and read- blueprints ability are essential, along with a valid driver license and a DOT Medical Card.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license is required.
• Must have or obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card for operating commercial vehicles.
• Proven experience leading a small crew (2 team members).
• Proficient operation of landscape equipment including skid steers and mini excavators.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety standards (OSHA).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a crew of 2–5 team members.
• Provide daily task assignments and hands-on training.
• Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite appearance.
• Communicate with supervisors, team members, and clients as needed.
• Monitor crew productivity and uphold company standards.
